Upper Dolpo, a remote region of far western Nepal, filled with immaculate snowy peaks, ancient and isolated villages, rich wildlife, reliable Buddhist monastery and wonderful lakes. The people of this area are simple and warm-hearted with fascinating culture and traditions. The culture and traditions here found to be influenced by Tibet. This area is also well-known for the home of herbal, unspoiled trans-Himalayan culture, Buddhist monuments; unique human civilization at high altitude is worth a visit. Trekking around the Dolpo region is an unforgettable journey in every visitor's life. Observing different rain shadow landscapes with stunning mountain views, wild flowers, Himalayan blue sheep, snow leopards, and huge birds Himalayan griffon. It's difficult to grow crops there, which makes life difficult for the local people, so most of them are involved in the salt trade from Tibet, this traditional culture continues in Doplo generation to generation. This region is well protected by Shey-Phoksundo National Park, which is the largest in Nepal and the prominent lake called ‘Phoksundo’ which is free from aqua lives., surrounded by rugged mountains, it is described as one of the world’s ‘natural hidden wonders’. A well-organized camping trek is required and trekking in a group is recommended. This trek is most suitable for those who are exceptionally fit and prepared to face the full challenge of the Himalayan wilderness.
Suggested itinerary:
Day 01 : Receive you at the airport in Kathmandu and escort to the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu – > Nepalgunj (flight)
Day 03: Nepalgunj – > Juphal (flight) then trek to Dunai. (2150m)- 5 hrs. Sleep in tent.
Day 04: Dunai -> Hanke. (3000m), 6 hrs.
Day 05: Hanke –> Reji. (2940m), 6 hrs.
Day 06: Reji –> Ringmo (3540m), 7 hrs.
Day 07: Ringmo –> Trekkers take rest here
Day 08: Ringmo –> Rock Fall. (4300m), 6 hrs.
Day 09: Rock Fall –> Gandala B.C (4650m), 6 hrs.
Day 10: Gandala B.C.–> Shey Gumba. (4300m), 6 hrs.
Day 11: Shey Gumba (Rest day).
Day 12 Shey Gumba -> Namgung. (4560m), 6 hrs.
Day 13: Namgung –> Saldang. (4150m), 6 hrs.
Day 14: Saldang –> Koma. (4060m), 6 hrs.
Day 15: Koma –> Shimen. (3850m), 6 hrs.
Day 16: Shimen –> Tinjegaun. (4110m).
Day 17: Tinjegaun- > Rest Day
Day 18: Tinjegaun – > Camp Side. (4210m), 6 hrs.
Day 19: Camp Side –> Mallan Camp, (4350m), 7 hrs.
Day 20: Mallan –> Chharka. (4110m), 7 hrs.
Day 21: Chharka –> Tuja Khola. (4850m), 7 hrs.
Day 22: Tuja Khola –> Kharka. (4950m), 6 hrs.
Day 23: Kharka –> Sangdak. (3680m), 7 hrs.
Day 24: Sangdak –> Kagbeni. (3690m), 6 hrs.
Day 25: Kagbeni –> Jomsom. (2720m), 3 hrs.
Day 26: Jomsom –> Pokhara – Kathmandu.

*Airport pick-up and drop in a luxurious vehicle, *provide you with a local SIM card to communicate (If your cell phone does not accept the local SIM, we then give you cell phone set to), and internet wireless password for the places you need and it works *3-4 nights on BB plan in 3-4 star category hotel in Kathmandu and other places, * breakfast, lunch, dinner, lemon water, tea/coffee during trek, * provided with male/female Guide and porter depending on your requirements, *TIM cards, National Park permits, and government other related fees are taken care of, * we also usually do a farewell dinner for you in the place you would probably like.

Beer or whisky drinks) in Kathmandu and other places, and during trek other than mentioned, *Your Travel Insurance which is what you have from back home *Tourist Entry Visa upon arrival in Kathmandu airport, *matter related your enjoyment, Tips to waiter, alcohol, laundry, and of course your shopping, Expenses occurred due to natural disaster, protest, flight delay, and things out of our hand. We do our best to get out of the situation but we will not take responsibility of financial loss, destruction and theft. Rent charge of trekking equipment (two men tent, dining tent, kitchen tent, Table with chairs, kitchen utensils, Down sleeping bag / Jackets, walking sticks, and other necessary equipment during the trek).
**Note: We are happy to offer a complementary to the group leader with above 10 people. We opt not to put price tag on any of our itineraries because some of you would want to stay less than 3 star hotels or some more than, some would want to prolong their journey connecting to Jungle safari to white water rafting and stay few days in Kathmandu or some of you want shorten their trip.
