Without community, there is no liberation...
Kund means pond in Nepali, this place is also famous for Hindu pilgrimage as they believe Lord Shiva was so fascinated with the surroundings and the pond since then he has been staying there ever since. This area offers you many more small ponds other than the biggest Gosainkund. After leaving Kathmandu by road you will then reach to the Dunche and trek to upper Syabru, then Lauribinaya and Gosainkund. The place is so quiet, and offer magnificent view of Mt. Langtang. On the way up, there are tea houses and lodge for visitors. You are coming back to Kathmandu through different route then you left.
